[Review] The Body Shop Papaya Shower Gel

Hi guys! This review will be my first beauty review on this blog. Hahha

Nice to meet you then. First, my name is Selly and I am the youngest daughter of my beloved parents. I am still studying in FKIP UNSRI Palembang, now in the fifth semester. Hope I’ll end this college next year. Amin AminAmin. Hhe

Halo semuanya! Post blog ini adalah review pertamakalinya tentang seputar beauty di blog saya. hahha.. 
Senang bertemu denganmu, readers! Perkenalkan, saya Selly. Saya anak bungsu dari 4 bersaudara dan sekarang saya sedang kuliah di UNSRI jurusan FKIP semester 5. Doakan saya akan lulus tahun depanya!! Amin Amin.

So this story begins with my Mother’s sweet 50 birthday party. It was a big party, we invited more than 100 guest and It was around August if I’ve not mistaken. So, my mom’s friend gave her a box of The Body Shop product which contains of Body soap, Perfume, Body Butter and Body Mist. 

Because I have 3 older sisters, we need to share that gift. I really wanted the perfume because perfume product of body shop usually has a good quality. But unfortunately, I only got Body soap. Huhuhu So, I begged my sister to give me body butter at least. And she was touched by my effort.

Jadi, ceritanya waktu itu mamaku ulangtahun yang ke 50. Kami mengadakan pesta yang lumayan meriah. Lalu  salah-satu teman mama saya, memberikan The Body Shop Beauty Box set gift yang isinya parfum, body butter, body mist dan juga sabun mandi. 

Karena saya punya 3 kakak perempuan, kami harus berbagi hadiahnya.hehehe.. Aku ingin sekali mendapatkan parfumnya, karena aku tahu kalau parfum dari  The Body Shop itu wanginya enak-enak. Tapi sayangnya, aku hanya dapat sabunnya saja, jadi aku memohon pada kakakku untuk memberikan aku body butter nya. 

So tadaaaaaaa! I got body soap and Body butter of Body Shop. Thank you my pretty sissy *KISS*. Let’s begin the review then! First will be the soap, The Body Shop Papaya Shower Gel. Please read it until the end, ok readers?

Ok. Marikita memulai review ini. Kita akan membahas review sabun dari The Body Shop. Baca sampai akhir ya readers.

The Body Shop Papaya Shower Gel with Papaya fruit extract from Thailand. What I know about Papaya is that it is good for brightening our skin and fading the marks on our face. That’s why there are a lot of papaya extract used in skincare and bodycare. Isn’t it amazing?

I have used this several times as my soap, and the smell is extremely fresh! I really like it. It doesn’t smell like a true papaya fruit, in contrast It smells more fresh than the true papaya fruit. Can you guys imagine about that?

The Body Shop Papaya Shower Gel dengan ekstrak papaya dari Thailand. Yang saya tahu papaya bagus untuk mencerahkan kulit dan memudarkan noda-noda di kulit. So, banyak produk kecantikan menjadikan papaya sebagai skincare maupun bodycare. Amaze bukan? 

Saya sudah pakai The Body Shop Papaya Shower Gel ini beberapa kali dan wanginya sangat-sangat menyegarkan. Saya suka sekali wanginya. 

Packaging

The package of this bottle is made from thick and elastic plastic which make this bottle won’t easy to be broken. I like the size of this bottle because it’s not too big neither small. It contains of 250 ml and the price is IDR 89.000,-. I know the price because Visited The Body Shop outlet in Palembang.

Kemasan botolnya terbuat dari plastik yang tebal dan elastis sehingga tidak akan mudah pecah atau rusak. Saya suka ukuran kemasan yang sedang ini karena ukurannya tidak begitu besar dan tidak begitu kecil. Isinya 250ml yang bisa dibeli seharga IDR 89.000,- . Saya tahu harganya segitu karena saya tinjau langsung di Counternya The Body Shop Palembang*Saya kepo kan.hahaha*.

Teksture

The texture of this product is gel which has orange papaya color and it has sweet smell. Unfortunately, it only has a little bubble of using. 

Teksturnya ini berbentuk gel berwarna orange seperti warna kulit pepaya dan memiliki aroma yang manis.Sayangnya memiliki busa yang sedikit.

Result

Some people do not like soap with a little bubble. But not for me. I like it. Because it means that the soap does not contain many SLS/Paraben. Beside that, i can also keep the humidity of my skin. There is a tip for you readers, who likes the soap with a lot of bubble, you can use shower puff. After using this soap for several times, my skin become smoother and softer. Readers, the smell of this soap will stay longer so we do not have to use parfume in the usual day.

Beberapa orang tidak menyukai sabun mandi berbusa sedikit. Namun tidak bagi saya. Saya sangat suka sabun mandi berbusa sedikit. Itu artinya tidak ada kandungan SLS/ Paraben. Selain kulitkumenjadi bersih juga tetap terjaga kelembabannya. Tips untuk kalian yang tidak menyukai sabun mandi berbusa sedikit, kalian harus menggunakan shower puff untuk membuat busa yang melimpah. Setelah beberapa kali menggunakan sabun ini, kulit saya menjadi lebih lembut dan halus. Oh ya readers, wanginya juga tahan lama loh jadinya kita gak butuh parfum untuk sehari-hari.

The Advantages:

1.       The smell is really fresh.

2.       we don’t have to use it much when we take a bath

3.       efficient packaging

4.       not much SLS / detergent

 Keunggulannya The Body Shop Papaya Shower Gel =

1. Wanginyasangatenakdanmenyegarkan.

2. Pemakaiannya sangat hemat.

3. Kemasan yang travel friendly.

4. Tidak ada kandungan SLS/ Detergent.

The Disadvantages:

1.       It is quite expensive

2.       I think this soap is not suitable for men. Because the smell of this soap is really girly. 

Kelemahannya The Body Shop Papaya Shower Gel:

1. Harganya cukup mahal.

2. Kurang cocok di pakai kaum adam karena aroma nya yang begitu manis .

We also know that most of Body Shop product are produced for woman, not for men. Even though some of the products are for the man, but seems like it’s only a few men will visit Body Shop outlet. Are we in the same side?

Kita juga tahu kan kalau sebagian besar produk di The Body Shop ini sebenarnya di tujukan untuk wanita, bukan untuk laki-laki. Walaupun ada bebrapa produk untuk laki-laki, tapi sepertinya hanya sedikit laki-laki yang maumasuk ke outlet The Body Shop. Haha.. Bagaimana menurut kalian? Apakah pendapat kita sama?
